Houghton, Hancock, Calumet, Dollar Bay, Chassell and Baraga will be among the teams running at the West Iron County Invitational today.

The Team Copper Country U18 hockey squad defeated Shattuck St. Mary 4-3 Sunday. Cory Tourtilott and Danny Hill also scored. Ian Carroll made 35 saves to get the win.

The Michigan Tech soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Findlay yesterday.

NHL
The Detroit Red Wings host the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night. Faceoff is at 7:30 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.

NBA
The Detroit Pistons continue their preseason schedule tomorrow night at Indianapolis.

MLB
In the American League Divisional Series yesterday, the Blue Jays beat the Rangers 5-1. Texas leads that best-of-five series two games to one. The Astros defeated the Royals 4-2. Houston leads that set 2-1. Each of those series continues this afternoon.

In the National League Divisional Series tonight, Saint Louis plays at Chicago, and Los Angeles plays at New York. Each set is tied at a win per team.

NFL
In the NFL, the Green Bay Packers remained unbeaten with a 24-10 victory over the St. Louis Rams yesterday. Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdown passes. He also threw two interceptions, breaking his NFL record streak of 587 passes thrown on his home field without a pickoff.

The Detroit Lions fell to 0-5 with an ugly 42-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Matthew Stafford was benched in the third quarter, after throwing three interceptions.

In last night’s contest, Eli Manning completed 41 passes, as the New York Giants edged the San Francisco 49ers 30-27.

Tonight, Pittsburgh plays at San Diego. Hear the broadcast on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.
