Some of the brightest students at Michigan Tech came together yesterday to present the projects that they have been working on since the beginning of the fall semester. Formerly known as the Undergraduate Expo, the 2014 Design Expo was packed from wall to wall in the Van Pelt and Opie Library at Michigan Tech. Students had the opportunity to display their projects and what they discovered from their work. Mary Raber from the Institute for Leadership and Innovation says the event keeps getting bigger and better. The projects featured many kinds of products from auto body parts to snowboards. Students are being judged on many things and Professor Andrew Storer says a lot goes into the process. With all of the innovative ideas being spread across the room, it looks like the future is in good hands.
