The case against a Hancock woman accused of stabbing a man last month is headed to Circuit Court.
41-year-old Sarah Youmans appeared in 97th District Court Monday for a preliminary exam.
She is charged with Felonious Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
Police say she stabbed a 57-year-old man at a residence in Hancock in late August.
Testimony was heard from the victim as well as from a witness and an officer from the Hancock Police Department.
After hearing the testimony, the judge ruled there was enough evidence for the case to be bound over to the Circuit Court.
Youmans is currently being lodged in the Houghton County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
She faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
