More college kids are smoking pot on a near daily basis than they’re smoking cigarettes.
That’s one of the main findings of a University of Michigan survey of college students.
Lloyd Johnston is heading up the study and says nearly 6 percent of the students surveyed say they smoked pot 20 or more times in the last month.
5 percent of the students surveyed say they smoke cigarettes every day. That’s down from 19 percent in 1999.
However the number of college kids who say they smoke tobacco using a hookah is up 7 percent from 2013.
