MI House Dems Want Their Energy Plan to get a Committee Hearing

Michigan House Democrats want their energy plan to have its day in a House committee.

House Minority Leader Tim Greimel says Republicans have talked plenty about their plan in the House Energy Committee but not enough about the Democrat’s priorities.

He wants a separate hearing for his caucus’ bills.

Both the House and Senate have held hearings on Republican-backed energy bills.

State Representative Bill Lavoy, who represents Democrats on the House Energy Committee, says he’s talked with the committee chair about the Democrat’s energy plan but hasn’t been able to lock down a hearing.
