A former staffer of State Representative Todd Courser describes his old boss as a power-hungry Jekyll and Hyde.
Josh Cline, speaking at his attorney’s office in Royal Oak, says Courser set an agenda that pushed press pops more than bill passage and that Courser and Representative Cindy Gamrat were getting way too cozy.
He says the two would often disappear for hours and hug for an unusually long amount of time when first seeing each other.
He also says Courser would occasionally fall asleep on the floor of Gamrat’s office and she would put a pillow under his head and cover him up with a blanket.
Courser and Gamrat have both acknowledged they had an affair.
Neither is resigning.
The House is holding an internal investigation to determine if taxpayer dollars or resources were used to cover up their affair.
