Dillon New Michigan Democratic Party Chair

State Representative Brandon Dillon is the new head of Michigan’s Democratic Party.

He was elected to the post by the party’s state central and executive committees over the weekend.

He’s taking over for Long Johnson who stepped down to run for Congress.

Dillon is in his third term in the Michigan House.

He hasn’t said if he’ll resign his House seat.
