Davidson Named New Calumet High School Principal

Calumet High School has a new principal.

The School Board has hired former CLK Schools teacher Chris Davidson to replace retiring Principal George Twardzik, who announced his plans to step down earlier this year.

Davidson is currently the Chassell Township School’s Superintendent and K-12 Principal.

He had been a teacher and administrator at CLK Schools for seven years before moving to Chassell.

Board President Phyllis Locatelli said they are extremely pleased to have Chris back at CLK Schools and look forward to him continuing the academic excellence Calumet High School is known for.

Also at this month’s board meeting, the CLK Board of Education extended their congratulations to Lexie Rowe, the winner of the Holly Jean McCullah award for the Female Athlete of the Year, and to Maxx Fredrickson who won the George Gipp Award for Male Athlete of the Year.

Both students are being recognized for their outstanding athletic and academic success while students at Calumet High School.
