Motorcycle Accident In Hancock

A Hancock man was injured when he collided with a deer while on his motorcycle.

The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened Tuesday just before 9:00pm on M-203 by Lakeshore Drive in Hancock Township.

The 41-year-old man was taken to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital by Mercy Ambulance for treatment of his injuries.

His condition has not been reported at this time.

The Sheriff’s Department says they do not believe speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
