Both Northern Michigan University basketball teams entertain Roosevelt University tonight.
NHL
The Red Wings scored four goals in the first period, and cracked the Kraken 6-2 yesterday. Marco Kasper, J.T. Compher, Alex DeBrincat, Patrick Kane, Eric Gustaffson and Dylan Larkin all found the net before Seattle finally got on the scoreboard in the third period. Cam Talbot made 31 saves.
The resurgent Wings have won seven straight, and host the Sharks tomorrow. Coverage will begin at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.
NBA
The Pistons have won nine of their last 11 games, and visit the Knicks tonight.
NFL
In the wild card round of the NFL playoffs yesterday…
- The Bills dispatched the Broncos 31-7.
- The Packers’ season ended with a 22-10 loss to the Eagles. Jordan Love was intercepted three times.
- The Commanders shaded the Buccaneers 23-30.
