Michigan State Police arrest three people, in separate stops, for drug possession

Michigan State Police arrest three individuals in Delta County for drug possession along state roadways during separate incidents.

 On January 3rd  MSP Gladstone Post troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Escanaba resident Jennifer Verbrigghe. Law enforcement found methamphetamine in the vehicle.

The following day, troopers checked on a woman walking along US-2 in Wells Township. Officers observed the woman appeared to be intoxicated. The woman, identified as Kristyn Hansen from Virginia, was discovered in possession of cocaine.

On January 5th troopers stopped a vehicle in Escanaba for a traffic violation. A search was conducted of the vehicle, where officials located methamphetamine. Troopers identified the driver as David Wencl from Powers, Michigan.

Each individual was lodged in the Delta County jail and will appear in court later this month.
