Keweenaw Community Foundation encourages support for the Great Start Early Childhood Fund

The Keweenaw Community Foundation announces a fund supporting childcare in the Copper Country will soon begin accepting grant applications.

Last week The Keweenaw Community Foundation announced it will include the Great Start Early Childcare Fund in the foundation’s round of spring grant opportunities. Nonprofit organizations, schools, and community organizations can apply for grant funds to work on projects in alignment with Michigan’s Early Childhood Outcomes.

Additionally, the Great Start Early Childhood Fund will accept donations to support the fund. Gifts donated to the fund will further support programs aimed at improving school readiness, health outcomes, and opportunities for families.
