Superior Health Foundation organizes AED fundraiser to save lives in the Upper Peninsula

Around the new year is an important to time look ahead. But it’s never a bad time to look ahead to what to do in an emergency.

Before February 2025’s celebration of Healthy Heart Month, the Superior Health Foundation hopes to raise 10,000 dollars to support to purchase of 30 AED devices. On average Superior Health Foundation provides up to 10 Automated External Defibulators each year. Annually AED devices save the lives of 1700 people in the United States.

SHF plans to distribute the devices to areas where AEDs will come in use such as organizations that host large events, housing facilities for older residents in the community, and community centers where the public interacts often.
