NFL
In yesterday’s NFL games…
- The Lions dominated the first half, then held on for dear life and outlasted the Bears 23-20. Jared Goff threw two touchdown passes to Sam LaPorta, and Jake Bates kicked three field goals. Late in the game, the Bears mounted a drive that began at their own one-yard line. They moved into field goal range in the final minute, but were pushed back by a penalty and a sack. With the clock ticking down, they failed to use their final time out, and Caleb Williams’ desperate pass into the end zone fell incomplete as time expired. The Lions improve to 11-1 – the best start in team history. It’s their first Thanksgiving win since 2016.
- The Cowboys got past the Giants 27-20.
- The Packers used a strong first half to defeat the Dolphins 30-17. Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes to Jayden Reed, and Brandon McManus kicked three field goals. Green Bay improves to 8-3.
The Chiefs host the Raiders this afternoon. Coverage will begin at 2:30 on 99.3 The Lift. Television coverage will be restricted to Amazon Prime subscribers.
