Superior Fab Lab and Michigan Innovation Convention announce save the date details for Maker’s Fest 2025. The Innovation and Invention Festival offers opportunities for area students to show off STEM projects and experience fun while learning. The annual event has been a huge hit with students in the Copper Country and innovators from the region showcasing the creativity of the community spirit. Last year’s event included more than six innovators in the area who volunteered their time and knowledge to share engaging educational experiences with youth in attendance. Maker’s Fest also includes a competition for students in the area to get involved with. The competition explores a variety of innovative ways for to students experience and change the world. The 2025 Invention with Superior Markers Fest will take place on March 15th. Makers Fest in 2025 will collaborate with the Henry Ford Museum for the Invention Convention. Competitions a part of Invention Convention occur at the regional, state, and national level. Before Marker’s Fest in March, Invention Convention will host a local event for students interested in participating in the regional competition to learn about rules and guidelines. The event will also include brainstorming activities, and help from Tech Tutors and Mind Trekkers students.
