Another Michigan college has boosted tuition for next year.
Students at Lake Superior State University will see a 2.67 percent increase in the cost of taking classes at the Sault Ste. Marie school.
The school’s Board of Trustees set tuition at $5,261 per semester, a $137 hike for the 2015-2016 academic year. The rate includes a $5 per semester increase to the Student Activity/Media fee, which must be approved by the student body this fall.
Room and board costs, which were approved earlier this year, are set at $9,290 per year, a nearly 3.4 percent increase over the 2014-2015 academic year.
